Mangalore University Level Inter-collegiate Chess Tournament held at UPMC






In the Men's section Canara College, Mangalore bagged the championship with 22.5 points & Milagres College, Kallianpur Runnersup with 17.5 points. In the Women's section Milagres College, Kallianpur bagged the championship with 17 points & St. Aloysius College, Mangalore Runnersup with 15.5 points.




Our students viz,:Vinayak A. Nayak, Mithun Kumar, Prajwal Kamath & Bhavesh Wadiya receiving 4 x 100 Mtrs Free style Relay Prize in M. U. I. C. Swimming competition 2006 - 2007.Event was organised by Madhava Pai Memorial College, Hall at K. M. C. Swimming Pool Manipal. In the competition our college gained second runners - up position in the Men section.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION
1. Students are free to play from 4.40 p.m to 6.00 p.m on all working days. 2. The Physical Director of the College nominates the captains of the various teams. 3. When representative teams are formed, players for the teams will be selected by the Physical Director from students who play regularly and attend coaching classes and intramural competitions. 4. When competitions are organized by the College only those who carry out the directions of the Physical Director and who are regular for practice, will be allowed to compete. Players whose records are excellent in the College will be permitted to participate in tournaments. 5. Students who receive games and sports materials should return them safely to the person who has issued them. 6. Students who are on the rolls of this College are not permitted to play in any outside team in any event against this College.
